How do I identify a plant?
Simply open PlantMate, tap the camera button, and take a photo of the plant you want to identify. Our AI will analyze the image and provide you with the plant name, care tips, and other useful information within seconds.
Is PlantMate free?
PlantMate offers a free version with a limited number of daily identifications. For unlimited identifications and access to premium features such as detailed care guides and plant collections, you can subscribe to PlantMate Pro through the App Store.
How accurate is the AI identification?
PlantMate uses advanced AI models trained on millions of plant images, achieving high accuracy for most common species. However, results are provided for reference purposes only. For critical decisions, such as identifying potentially poisonous plants, always consult a qualified botanist or professional resource.
Can I use PlantMate offline?
PlantMate requires an internet connection to process plant identifications, as photos are analyzed by our cloud-based AI system. However, previously identified plants saved to your collection can be viewed offline.
