This Privacy Policy explains how UNIQXEL (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects data when you use PlantMate: AI Plant Identifier (“PlantMate” or “the App”).

  • Plant Photos: Images you upload or capture in the App for identification and health analysis.

  • Account Information (if account system exists): Name, email address, password (hashed), profile details.

When you use PlantMate, we may collect:

 

  • Device information (device model, OS version, language, country/region)

  • App version and usage data (features used, screens viewed, session duration)

  • IP address (for security, fraud prevention, and approximate location)

2.3. Purchase & Subscription Data

 

For in-app purchases and subscriptions (including extra scan packages):

 

  • We receive non-sensitive purchase metadata from the App Store / Google Play (e.g. product ID, purchase time, status) to enable your premium features.

  • We do not store your full payment card details. Payments are processed by the relevant store (Apple, Google) or authorized payment providers.

 

 

 

 

3. Plant Photos & AI Processing

 

 

  • Your plant photos are used to:

     

    • Identify plant species

    • Provide an estimated health assessment

    • Generate care suggestions

     

  • Photos may be processed by our own or trusted third-party AI models/service providers.

    • Store images only as long as necessary for processing and improving the service, or as described in the App.

    • Remove or anonymize images where possible for analytics/training.

  • Use the in-app Delete Account option (if available), or

  • Email support@uniqxel.com with subject: “Delete My PlantMate Account” and include your account email.

 


We will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.
